Products & Solutions
The Thermax and Fipro brands have been synonymous with high-quality fire protection in building construction, shipbuilding and the offshore industry for decades. MULTITHERM 550, a highly insulating speciality insulation material, is used in the household appliance sector, in medical technology and in numerous other industrial applications.
In order to cover the entire spectrum of customer requirements, in addition to the production of MULTITHERM from biosoluble speciality glass and THERMAX and Fipro from the natural-based raw material vermiculite, other materials are manufactured, processed and refined at the four sites.
The products are used in the electrical and gas heating industry (e.g. heat exchangers, wood pellet stoves), in the aluminium industry (e.g. linings for smelting furnaces) and in fire protection for buildings, ships and offshore facilities.
A new business area is battery safety. The group offers battery boxes for the safe storage and charging of lithium batteries, designed for professional use in industry and the maritime sector.
