The roots of Moll Industries reach back to 1894, when Leonhard Moll founded a construction company whose success was already shaped by the use of innovative technologies. It was during this period that a corporate and innovation culture emerged which continues to define us to this day. With the establishment of “Leonhard Moll Betonwerke” in 1929, an industrial success story began that would later be continued through strategic acquisitions, including the purchase of Keimfarben in 1978 and the integration of the TechnoPhysik Group in 2017.

Moll Industries now combines three core industrial holdings with clearly defined areas of expertise: Infrastructure (railway technology), construction chemicals (sustainable surface systems) and high-temperature technologies (fire protection and energy efficiency). These areas complement each other strategically – from the production of railway sleepers to cradle-to-cradle colour systems and vermiculite insulation materials. The result is a robust, diversified industrial portfolio in which economic stability comes from technological leadership.
